Application
Glass manufacturing: Sodium carbonate is an important raw material in the glass manufacturing industry. It can help oxides become sodium oxide, making the glass components more pure.
Detergents: In the manufacture of detergents, sodium carbonate is used as one of the ingredients to help remove oil stains and increase washing performance.
Food industry: In the food industry, sodium carbonate is often used as an acidity regulator and neutralizer, used in wine making and bread processing, and can also make food crispier.
Metallurgy, textile and petroleum industries: Sodium carbonate is also used in the metallurgical industry as a smelting flux, in the textile industry as a degreasing agent for raw hides, and in the petroleum industry as a desulfurizer.
Water Treatment and Synthetic Chemicals: In addition, sodium carbonate is used in the production of water softening, synthetic detergents and other chemicals such as sodium tripolyphosphate and other phosphates.
