Ammonium persulfate is nonflammable, but it can release oxygen and has a combustion supporting effect. Chemical Properties
Peroxodisulfate contains peroxy groups and is a strong oxidant that can oxidize Mn2 + to MnO4-. Ammonium peroxodisulfate can be prepared by electrolysis of an aqueous solution of ammonium bisulfate.
